A little about me...

Hello everyone!

I'm Vivian, a proud mom of two wonderful children, and I am thrilled to share my passion for crochet with you through this platform. Hence, I have named my website as “VIVMADE”.

My journey with crochet began during my primary school days. While I picked up the hook and yarn, I must admit that I was not initially enthusiastic about the craft. Perhaps it was the lack of inspiration or the challenge of finding yarn shops in my area that hindered my early progress.

However, life has a way of leading us back to our true passions. In 2015, my crochet journey took a new turn when I stumbled upon some beautiful crochet blogs that ignited a spark within me. The intricate and breathtaking designs I saw inspired me to pick up the crochet hook once again, and this time, there was no turning back. With each stitch, I rediscovered the joy and fulfillment that crochet brought into my life. The feeling of creating something beautiful with my own hands was simply incomparable.

As my skills grew, I found myself diving into new crochet ventures. I began developing patterns for practical items like bags, pouches, and purses. The ability to create functional and fashionable pieces through crochet excited me immensely. Each design became an expression of my creativity, and I could not wait to share them with others who shared my passion for crochet. I found immense pleasure in bringing my unique ideas to life, and it was not long before friends and family began noticing my creations and encouraging me to share them with a wider audience.

In 2020, I took a leap of faith and decided to sell my crochet patterns with the world through Etsy. The response from the crochet community was overwhelming. I could not believe how popular some of my patterns became. The encouragement and compliments I received from fellow crafters and customers alike filled my heart with gratitude and happiness.

As much as I enjoy crocheting, I love traveling, photography, cooking, baking, and spending good time with my family, friends, and my dog. Here are some of my travel photos!
