Invisible Join - Tutorial (Video)
This method is perfect for projects where you want a clean, professional finish, especially in motifs or rounds like granny squares, doilies, or bags.
How to Make an Invisible Join in Crochet
Finish the Last Stitch of the Round
Complete the final stitch of your round as per the pattern instructions.Cut the Yarn
Leave a long tail to weave in later (around 4-6 inches). Pull the tail completely through the last stitch, securing the end.Insert the Needle into the First Stitch
Thread the yarn tail onto a tapestry needle. Insert the needle under both loops of the first stitch of the round (not the beginning chain if you used one).Pull the Yarn Through
Gently pull the yarn through to mimic the look of a regular stitch. Be careful not to tighten it too much—it should look even with the other stitches.Insert the Needle Back into the Last Stitch
Insert the needle into the center of the last stitch worked, going under the back loop only. This creates a seamless look by mimicking the top of the stitch.Pull the Yarn and Weave in Ends
Gently pull the yarn snug, ensuring it blends with the surrounding stitches. Weave in the yarn tail securely on the backside of your work.
